Micro-Roasters Promoting a Community of Coffee

The move to our new home and the addition of our second daughter may have signalled the end of the the Sustainable Cup. We apologize for leaving you without your weekly "fix", and we'll be sure to let you know if things change. Thanks for your support and we wish you all the best.
Peace and blessings to all.

Bolivia - Fair Trade Certified Organic - AECAR Coop
$8.00

Our Bolivian coffee comes from Co-operative AECAR (Asociación Ecologica de Caficultores Rosario entre Rios).  Funded in 1987, AECAR is made up of 164 small farmers averaging 3 acres of land per farmer. This Typica and Bourbon coffee (heirloom Arabica) is cultivated in the mountain regions of Bolivia at an altitude of 4,900 - 6,000 feet.  AECAR members work very hard to constantly improve their organic farming cultivation practices and the quality of their coffees.  The co-ops hard work is evident in an impeccably processed coffee –uniform bean size and beautiful even color. The coffee has a sweetness and clarity of flavor in the cup.  It is a mild coffee, yet has a deeper body profile than many South American coffees.  Hints of milk chocolate and a smooth finish make this a delicious, crowd pleasing coffee.
